I Am Grateful


When I was coming back from my injuries, I spent a lot of time feeling sorry for myself, dwelling on how rough I’d had it — barely missing the Olympics; hitting endless dead ends in my rehab. My attitude made me tread water for months, unable to get well. It wasn’t until I learned to focus on gratitude through yoga that I started to heal. It’s amazing how many doors start to open when you are grateful for what you already have.
