When I don’t feel like I have control over a situation, and there are more variables than I think I can handle, I tell myself that I am Strong. This helps me believe I can handle whatever is thrown at me. Also, in a sport generally dominated by smaller women, its easy to feel self-conscious about our bodies. In these situations I focus on the Strength my body size provides.
