One day, when Ro and Lo were swapping stories about how they viewed the role of the mind in performance, Ro came up with an analogy that they both fell in love with: the mind is a garden. Lo loved the concept so much that she went to work writing a poem that she could refer back to in her own life as a reminder when things got complicated and busy (like they always do). The poem is the essence of the floral designs on Believe I Am, and a great way to remind yourself to actively tend the garden of your mind.
